Wolf Construction is always looking for talented trim carpenters of all experience levels, from beginners to foreman capable of running a multi-building job-site. Carpenter-Tradesman gets to work every day on time, actively works with tool bags on, is competent at his craft (trim, framing, siding, roofing, etc.), trouble shoots installation problems at hand and resolve issue as quickly as possible, from time to time, leads 1 or 2 Carpenter-Laborers in basic work activities, shows ability to be trained and follow directions, and works in a safe manner. Carpenter- Tradesmen are needed in the Des Moines, Minneapolis, and Kansas City markets.
Crew Lead gets to work every day on time, provides leadership and oversight to small groups (1-3 workers), actively works with tool bags on, is considered competent at his craft (trim, framing, siding, roofing, etc.), trouble shoots problems at hand and resolve issues as quickly as possible, develops a working knowledge of Wolf Construction policies and procedures and will 1) correct minor infractions or 2) notify Project Manager or Foreman infractions, is responsible for pace and quality of work being done the team, participates in training of new employees, works safely and ensures that others on the team are working safely, and knows the responsibilities of being a “competent person” based on OSHA definitions. Crew Leads are needed in the Des Moines, Minneapolis, and Kansas City markets.
Foreman represents Wolf Construction in the field to site superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, employees, and other trades. He provides day to day supervision of on-site construction activities, leads field staff and subcontracted labor, creates daily objectives or game plans, and ensures Wolf Construction satisfies contracted scope of work. Wolf foremen actively work with tool bags on in performing scope of work and are considered competent at their craft (trim, framing, siding, roofing, etc.) Foremen are needed in the Des Moines, Minneapolis, and Kansas City markets.
Superintendent is the field extension of the Project Management staff and assists in managing the full scope of Wolf Construction projects. The Superintendent is the field point of contact to general contractors, provides tactical expertise to foremen on-site Wolf employees and/or sub crews; represents Wolf Construction to its employees, customers and vendors in a manner that reflects well on the company. Performs or helps perform job starts including but not limited to: layout, snapping lines, and generating a project game plan. Holds Wolf Employees accountable to their performance requirements and may manage multiple sites simultaneously (oversight of 2 foreman and/or sites at one time). Superintendents are needed in the Des Moines, Minneapolis, and Kansas City markets.
Project Manager manages the full scope of Wolf Construction projects and is ultimately responsible for project success; serves as primary point of contact to general contractors, provides tactical expertise to foremen and field personnel; represents Wolf Construction to its employees, customers and vendors in a manner that reflects well on the company. Manages multiple projects simultaneously, amount will vary by overall workload, size of projects, locations of projects, and magnitude of the scope of work; participates in contract review, scope review, pre-project requirements and existing conditions for awarded projects, maintains project budget and directs activities to correct variances; responsible for verifying, approving and processing paperwork specific to the project including: pay applications, subcontractors pay applications, change orders, back charges and payable statements.
