In honor of our founder, friend and football fanatic, Scott Wolfswinkel, the Wolf Construction Services, Inc. Game Ball is presented to a team member who exemplifies all that it means to be a strong leader of a good team.   While there is no written criteria for this award, recipients all have similar attributes that have made their contributions award worthy.  They have overcome adversity, lead with servant hearts and modeled the We Will philosophy.  They have led their teammates, crews or divisions through rocky terrain with strength and conviction.  They have taken on huge projects with confidence and compassion.  They have planned for the future and they serve their team.

Trim Division Team Member Eh Doh Say has been with Wolf Construction since February 2018.  Selected to be the winner of the Game Ball in January 2021, Eh is one of the hardest working individuals you will meet. He consistently completes his work on time and can often be found helping others finish their projects. Humble and kind, Eh is a terrific team member. Brent Harpenau has been a member of the Wolf Construction team for almost 10 years, most recently serving as a foreman in our Iowa Framing Division. Awarded the Wolf Construction Game Ball at the March 2020 Bedrock Meeting, Brent is a true example of loyalty, team, and service. As a mentor to many, Brent has recently led teams to complete difficult projects that have taken time, talent and patience. Bob Smith joined the Wolf Team in July of 2017 as a foreman for the Iowa Framing Division, Bob is a detail guy who is quick to learn. His rapport with general contractors, other trades and the Wolf Team is unbeatable. Bob has a knack for planning and keeps a level head when plans go askew earned him the game ball in March, 2019. Bob’s “get it done” attitude is a force that team members enjoy working with.

A team member since 2010, Estimating Manager Terry Peterson was awarded the Game Ball in November, 2018. Know for spending long hours at the office, Terry has an influence on every framing bid that leaves Wolf Construction. His “there’s nothing we can’t fix” attitude about work and life in general influences those around him to look for the good and take on projects that are just a bit our of the comfort zone.

A member of the Framing Division, Darrein is willing to do whatever it takes to finish jobs well. His humble confidence makes those around him better. A member of the Wolf Team since 2016, Stephen is a dedicated team member who is always working toward solutions.

Michael Schneider, Trim Division Superintendent, has been with Wolf Construction since 2006. His experience includes spending time in each of our current divisions as well as siding, home building and any other job that has needed done. Michael is a true example of a servant heart. He had taken on new challenges and learned to balance the need of the customer with the good of Wolf Construction team in mind.

Kevin Corkrean is the Wolf Construction Game Ball recipient for July 2018. A team member since 2015, Kevin has served in the framing division for Wolf until his recent department switch to the roofing division. Kevin has proven himself as a customer service specialist, serving both customers and the Wolf team well. This spring a homeowner called the office to compliment Kevin, he couldn’t call Kevin directly because Kevin was working on his roof, in the rain.

Kevin's constant quest to provide the best experience possible for homeowners consistently moves Wolf Construction toward the goal of being the best construction company in the Midwest. His unwaivering dedication has led him to work in the Kansas City Market, Minneapolis Market, and anywhere else Wolf goes. Jacy quickly outgrew that role and now serves as the accounting coordinator- responsible for payroll and various other accounting functions. More importantly, Jacy is a force behind the culture and enthusiasm of Wolf Construction. Jacy’s contagious positive attitude hasn’t gone unnoticed- She is a sounding board for office staff and the field team alike. He’s relentless about finishing a job well and determined that those around him should be also. He’s relentless about his family, and funny enough, relentless about travel and charity.

Minnesota Framing Superintendent Jason Potvin has been with Wolf Construction since 2010 when he started as carpenter. Crews, subs, general contractors, and fellow Wolf Construction employees are humbled by Jason’s work ethic and ability to get tough jobs done. Jason is focused and intense about finishing. Presenting the Game Ball to Orv Otten in September 2017 was an easy decision. Orv, respectfully known to many as “Coach” is the Director of Field Personnel for Wolf Construction. Hired in 2015, Orv has served as the company Recruiting, Training and Retaining expert for 3 years. Recently, he has taken on the challenge of Director of Field Personnel, seeking to spend more time with the field team, identifying and providing training and support to their skills.

Framing Crew Lead, Scott Quick is based in Kansas City and has been with Wolf Construction since 2015. He was awarded the Game Ball in September of 2017. Scott has embraced the We Will's of the company, is an eager learner, and comes to work each day with a "yes-face". Most recently, he has been an integral part of one of the largest projects in the company's history by taking on the task of quality assurance and seeing to it that our scope of work was finished.
